Caregiver of the Month

Caregiver of the Month December 2015 Mary Rogers

Congratulations to Mary Rogers of North Port, our Newest Caregiver of the Month! Mary moved in with her parents five years ago when her mother was in the early stages of dementia. Mary and her Dad took care of her until her death two years ago. When her father got sick, Mary took him to dialysis three time a week ans cared for him until his death in June of this year. Mary and her dad watched sports and game shows on television. The family had a truly wonderful relationship. Mary was always so patient and kink, not only to her parents but to the neighbors as well.

At Kays-Ponger & Uselton, we have the deepest respect and appreciation for our community of caregivers. This may be a hospice professional, nurse, chaplain, social worker, CNA, healthcare administrative professional, volunteer, or any caregiving individual.

In an effort to recognize caregivers for their selfless devotion, we have created our “Caregiver Award”. Each month, we will honor a caregiver based upon a review of nominations of nominations. We will honor one remarkable caregiver each month with a gift card and an award. At the end of the calendar year, we will recognize a “Caregiver of the Year” with an award and special recognition.

We are thankful for the dedication and commitment of the caregivers in our community. It is our privileged to award caring individuals with the Caregiver of the Month Award. To nominate a caregiver please fill out a form at http://www.kays-ponger.com/caregiveraward/
