We are pleased to announce that Dee Roberts has accepted the position of Director of Pet Loss Services with Kays-Ponger & Uselton Family of Funeral Homes and Cremation Services.

An avid animal lover, Dee previously held the position of Executive Director of a local animal shelter and animal sanctuary.  She is the current administrator of the Cell Dog Program at Charlotte County Corrections.  Dee is a certified instructor in First Aid & CPR for both humans and animals and is currently training her dog, Tyrone, in Search and Rescue with a specialty in Cadaver Dog Training.

Dee is also a Certified Celebrant for Kays-Ponger & Uselton and Lemon Bay Funeral Homes and Cremation Services.  A native of Ohio, Dee has lived in Englewood for the past 33 years and is married to Wayne and has two children, Devon and Mike.
