William is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Helen, a son William B Jr (Penny), a daughter Diane Gorman and her husband Dick Gonzalez, a son in law Joseph (Joann) Petrillo from Long Island, NY. William leaves 3 grandchildren Scott, Jennifer and Bryan, and a great grandchild James. He is predeceased by a daughter Helene. William was a veteran of World War II proudly serving in the United States Army. He was employed for 30 Years before retiring from the New York City Sanitation Dept, vehicle maintenance division.
He was a parishoner of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. a memorial service will be held at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Friday December 9, 2011 at 11:00AM with military honors to follow. A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday December 7, 2011 from 5:30Pm - 6:30PM from the Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Boulevard Port Charlotte.
