Dannie L. Raulerson 77, of Port Charlotte passed away on Wednesday February 13, 2013. Dannie was born on March 30, 1935 to Joseph and Bonnie Raulerson in Foley Fl, He moved to Punta Gorda in 1951. Dannie graduated from Charlotte High School, and then proudly served his country in the United States Army, Dannie married Janette Nee Whitehurst in 1958. He was the Owner and Operator of Dan Raulerson Construction Company. He was an avid race car driver as well as his love of hunting and fishing. Dannie is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bonnie and his wife Janette. He is survived by his children Robin Raulerson, Dannette (Tom) Haas and Stacy (Tracey) Raulerson. He leaves four grandchildren Jake, Peyton, Reese and Cody. He was a brother to Bonnie, Joeann, Ted, Rusty and Jerry. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins. a gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday February 21, 2013 from 5:30PM -6:15PM at the New Life Family Worship 28830 Bermont Road Punta Gorda Fl 33982. A memorial servivce will begin at 6:15PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Relay for Life in Punta Gorda would be apprreciated.
