Judith E. (Judy) Boynton, 71, passed away on Tuesday August 31, 2010 in West Palm Beach, Florida, as a result of an auto accident earlier in the year. She was born in Princeton, Indiana and attended Evansville College. In 1958, she moved with her family to Huntsville, Alabama where she was employed by the U.S. Army Rocket and Guided Missile Agency. In1961, she married Allan Boynton also of Huntsville. They had three children; Michael, Scott and Patricia. Her husband was employed by General Electric and they were located in several cities in the U.S and twice abroad. Retiring in 1996, they moved to Punta Gorda and except for two years in Texas, they have lived here since. She and her husband were extensive travelers and in the course of their retirement, visited more than sixty countries. Judy and her husband were members of Twin Isles Country Club where she was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Allan and three children; Michael of Grapevine, Texas; Scott of Richland, Washington and Patricia of Kissimmee, Florida; six grandchildren and her sister, Jacqueline Keys of Naples, Florida.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave, Punta Gorda. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave, Punta Gorda. Interment will be private.
