Joan Rosasco 71, of Port Charlotte passed away on Monday September 6, 2010. Joan was born on July 20, 1939 in Brooklyn NY, to John and Julia Charvet. Joan was employed at the Beacon Clinic and was loved by all who knew her. Joan is survived by her daughter Charlene (Louis) Rosenfield and her son Robert Rosasco, and two grandchildren Robert Grimm and Jacqueline Rosasco. Joan was a dear mother, grandmother and friend. Her energy amazed us. Her humor entertained us, with a song in her heart and a dance in her step she inspired us all. She always had time and a kind word of encouragement for everyone, no person or task was ever beneath her. She will be deeply missed.
Proverbs 31:8 she watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.
A visitation for friends and family will be Wednesday September 8, 2010 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
