Martha J. Mershon 83 of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away at her residence on
January 30, 2013.

She was born on February 23, 1929 in Brazil, Indiana to William H. Simes and
Gertrude Anderson Simes. Martha came to Punta Gorda, Florida from South Bend,
Indiana in 1970. She was sales representative for Sears from 1971 until 1985, and
won the Sears National Commission sales several times. Martha was a member of the
Honolulu First Christian Church.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sandra (AL) Benkner of Punta Gorda, Florida and
Debbie (Bob) Stephenson of Port Charlotte, Florida: one sister, Glendora (Jim) Price of
Brazil, Indiana, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside services Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. at Fort Ogden Cemetery in Fort
Ogden, Florida.
