Norene J. Faber, 80, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away June 6, 2012. She was born June 26, 1931 in Rockland, Maine and moved to this area in the early 50’s from her hometown. She met and married Russell Faber, a local Punta Gorda CPA in the 60’s and they had two sons. Norene was a member and former President (1977-79) of the Punta Gorda Gardeners Club. She worked for Port Charlotte Florist for many years. She loved spending time with and caring for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Nora) Faber of Pt Charlotte, FL and Timothy Faber of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Kristin, Maddux, Grace and Keira; a sister Marion of Punta Gorda and brother, Michael Banks of Kenai, Alaska.
Funeral Information
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL. The Funeral Service will follow on Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with the Rev Bill Klossner officiating.
