Sharon L. Hennegan –
The sweetest person to grace this earth, Sharon L. Hennegan, left us way too soon on August 27, 2010. Born to Richard and Irene Spikings on September 17, 1942, she will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Tom, daughters Cynthia (Randy) Bontjes and Deborah Kimes, sisters Sandra Peterson, Janis (Robert) Jandrisits, June Winkel and Jeri (Curt) Steger, grandsons Michael (Angela) and Thomas (Tricia) Hennegan and Joshua (Heather) Kimes, granddaughters Micheal Toribio and Danielle Kimes, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Sharon had many special friends too numerous to list. Waiting to welcome her to heaven are her parents, daughter Louise Gourley and son Thomas Hennegan.

Devoted to her family and friends, Sharon took delight in her love of animals, music, travel and the Chicago Bulls. Sharon was a founding member of Friends for the Advancement of Musical Education (F.A.M.E.), a local non-profit organization. Memorials to F.A.M.E., c/o Stevens, 3455 So. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home Venice Chapel.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Kays-Ponger and Uselton Funeral Home Venice Chapel, 1935 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice 34293.
