Englewood, & Punta Gorda FL Area Elizabeth D. Miller, 90, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away December 2, 2011. She was born November 11, 2011 in Johnstown, PA to John and Mary Dubinsky. She was one of eight siblings. Before retiring, she worked as a Secretary for the Pentagon and in 1980 she and her husband moved to the Windmill Village from Berlin, MD. They were active residents and Mrs. Miller participated in many activities including shuffleboard.
She is survived by her son and his wife, William and Joyce Miller of North Port, FL; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was pre deceased by her husband of 68 years, Earl A. Miller February 7, 2011.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Friday at the funeral home with the Rev Paul Young officiating. Burial to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidwell Hospice at tidewell.org.
