Ricky G Johnson, 61, of North Port, FL died June 30, 2012 after a brave 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Terre Haute, IN and moved to Nokomis area in 1985.Ricky was an RV tech for many years. He had worked at Bates RV, RV World and most recent at Charlotte RV. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty, Son Ricky G II ( Meghan) of Nokomis, daughter Melba(Joe) Hilberger of Florahome, Fl. Grandchildren, Spencer and Samantha of Nokomis , Angela and Alan of Florahome, great-grandaughter Aubrey. Sister Joann(Jerry) of Jasonville, In, brothers Marvin(Mary) and Paul(Pam) of North Port, Fl and many nephews ,nieces and cousins.He was predeceased by his mother and father Raymond and Thelma Johnson, sister Betty , brothers Leroy and Norman.
Rick loved fishing and camping in his RV. He was a wonderful, caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by many.
