William Casey, (known affectionately as “Casey” by all his friends), 39, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away June 10, 2012 leaving us all too soon. He was born January 27, 1973, in Woodstock, IL to William and Margaret Casey. Casey graduated from Crystal Lake Central High School in 1991 and attended college at Eastern Illinois University. For 16 years, he was a Sheriff's Deputy in Charlotte County, FL and was a member of both the Swat Team and Dive Team. He was a Deputy 1st Class. He was currently working for a private detective agency. Casey loved family, friends, fishing and hunting!
He is survived by his sisters; Cindy Totemeier, Kim (Ron) Freund, Michele (Chuck) Torkelson, Margaret (Mark) Casey, Jayne (Brian) Stucker; nieces and nephews; Amy (John) Bucci, Jason (Shannon) Torkelson, John (Zaneta) Totemeier, Stacia (Chase) Huffman, Katie Freund, Rob Freund, Drew Stucker, Bill Schalles as well as great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Margaret Casey.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Casey’s Life will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL.
