Marjorie Ann Steele, 92, passed away on the morning of February 9, at her home. Born December 29, 1920, in Cumberland, Indiana, she was the daughter of George W. and Nettie (Stutsman) Amos. She attended Grace United Methodist Church, Venice, where, for several years, she was active in the Ladies Circle. She was also a charter member of the Venice Area Quilters Guild. Marjorie is survived by her brother, George W. Amos of Osprey, FL; sister Thelma Lee Rumford of Indianapolis, IN; son Stephen A. Steele of Pendleton, IN; daughters, Nancy Downs of Venice, fl, Beth Ann Steele of Myakka City, FL; 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family expresses deep gratitude to both Tidewell Hospice and Coastal Care.

Funeral Information

A service to honor her life will be 1:30pm, Sunday, February 17 at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, where she will be laid to rest.
