Chandler Ward Sarles 82, Passed Away on May 18, 2012 in Port Charlotte Florida.
He was born on July 28, 1929 in East Orange, New Jersey to Edward Sarles and Helen Chandler Sarles. He came to Port Charlotte, Florida from New Jersey in 1975. Chandler was an unique person, he was the owner and operator of a mobile home park that he built, an excellent wood worker, he displayed his wood crafts at craft shows. Chandler was an excellent pilot, building several Air Plaines.

Survivors include his wife, of 25 years, Sue Sarles of Port Charlotte, Florida; his daughter Robin (Timothy) Howard of North port, Florida; his son, Randy (Deborah) Sarles of Collegeville, Pennsylvania; his 2 granddaughters, Tiffany (Michael) Jennings of North port, Florida and Shannon Sarles of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 grandsons, Sean (Ace) Sarles of Philadelphia , Pennsylvania and Jason (Colleen) Zecca of Boca Raton, Florida; 3 step daughters, Pam (Ron) Camillone of Sandford, Florida, Karen Waldron of Lake Placid, Florida and Patti Yovaish (Doug) Lefebvre of Orlando, Florida and 9 step grandchildren. Chandler was preceded in death by his son Gary Sarles.

Memorial services Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home 2405 Harbor Blvd. Port Charlotte, Florida. Officiated by the Reverend. John Cross. Interment will be at a later date in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Punta Gorda, Florida.
