DANIEL (DANY) PATRICK MAGILL 56, died June 17, 2012, at his home in Englewood, Florida. He was born February 4, 1956, Berwyn, Illinois to William J. Magill and Lily Ann Edwards.
Dany was a retired self-employed Building Contractor. His most recent companies included
Dany Magill, Inc. of Englewood, and Boca Grande Design, Inc., Boca Grande.
Dany was an avid sailor and made two extended solo trips on his boat throughout the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico and more.
And he enjoyed living on his boat while working on Boca Grande projects.
Dany is survived by his siblings, William J. (Bill) Magill, Jr., Englewood, FL, Kathleen A. (Kathy) Magill (Tom Mastin), Fort Valley, GA and Lawrence J. (Larry) Magill (Betsy), Sarasota, FL; his best friend,
Jane Beaudry, Englewood, FL; nephew Hank Jacob, Crawfordville, FL, nieces Sarah Magill and Christine Magill, Sarasota, FL and nephew James Magill, Sarasota, FL; he was predeceased by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Dany’s life on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Lemon Bay Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and neighbors afterwards at Dany’s home. The scattering ceremony will be private.
