Ernest J. “Smokey” Boss , 77, of Punta Gorda, FL died January 11, 2012. He was born May 6, 1934 in Newark, NJ and lived in Brick, NJ for 30 years. He had worked as a self employed home builder before retiring to Punta Gorda in 2000. He will be truly missed and will live in the hearts of his family forever.

He is survived by his beloved wife Suzanne Boss, son and daughter-in-law, Ernest J and Christine A. Boss III, grandchildren, Madeline Boss and Ernest J Boss IV.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
